World 1-2 is the second level of World 1 in Mario Forever and its fan-made remake, Mario Forever Remake. The level resembles an underground level with some secret passages in it. The Starman powerup and the platforms makes their first appearence in this level.
Layout
After the cutscene involving Mario going through a pipe, the level starts with a small open path blocked by a wall to its left before four ? blocks surrounded by bricks, one of them having a powerup (either a Super Mushroom or a Fire Flower).
Two Goombas stand atop the blocks, with one more standing on bricks above them. One more Goomba is on the ground before various pillars made of blue blocks, between two of which is a brick in the air containing 9 coins and another Goomba on the floor.
After that, there is a piece of floor surrounded by gaps, with four bricks above it in the air with two more bricks atop it, and four coins above them in a square arrangement. A Goomba is also on the floor here.
After the next hole is a narrow corridor consisting of blue blocks, where there are a Goomba and a Koopa Troopa. After that the corridor starts to be more open, and on the ground there is another Goomba and another Koopa Troopa, along with two more square arrangements of four coins above them.
More pieces of blue blocks floor surrounded by gaps until there is a part of the ground with four purple pipes on its left, with two short ones surrounding the other two longer pipes in the middle, which have Piranha Plants in them. Above the third pipe is a line of three bricks, followed by three coins and then nine more bricks, with two Goombas on the right side of them.
Two square pieces of floor surrounded by gaps lie after the ground, and then 7 bricks in the air with two Goombas on the right of them, with more ground after that.
Above the third to sixth blocks are four bricks, two blocks after which is a set of four blue blocks with a long purple pipe on its rightmost with a Piranha Plant, and two coins to its right. Two blocks after that are two coins to the left of a similar structure with a pipe, except with only two blue blocks instead. Four blocks after that on the ground is a set of three Goombas, each divided by a space. After that is a long open path until the player comes across two Goombas standing on blocks in the air, and the ground will end.
The player will be before a large hole where there are orange platforms infinitely falling off into. It is surrounding a large piece of floor along with another large hole where there are orange platforms doing the same. On that piece of floor, there is a red Koopa Troopa on the left of the ground, with a set of 6 bricks in the air one block after, the second one of which being surrounded by two ? blocks. A Goomba is standing on the middle of those bricks.
After that, there is more ground with a staircase arrangement of blocks, which a bunch of blocks after is a ? block way up in the air. Finally, there will be the goal waiting for the player.

Hardcore World 1 Passage

The 2 blocks that will teleport Mario to the world.
In the part where theres a Koopa Troopa and two Goombas, The player can see a sign saying 'Hardcore Zone Is Near', indicating that its passage is near. When they'rein the 2 pipes part, they have to jump beneath the first pipe's 2 blocks and a message will appear that will say 'You Have Found A Secret Passage To Hardcore World 1'. telling them that they have unlocked the world.
World 4 Passage
Mario getting teleported to World 4
Near the Hardcore sign, the player has to make sure to jump in the 6th and 7th blocks and then, they will get a message that will say 'You Found A Secret Way To Map 4'. telling them that they have unlocked the world.
