Mario Forever Android is a remake/port of Mario Forever for Android developed by Alexandro Games. The game was made with Clickteam Fusion and with a combination of Rainbow Engine and Syzxchulun's World 10 Engine.
Development
In 2014, Alexandro Games wanted to play Mario Forever on mobile phones, but it wasn't possible because the game was only available for Windows.
In mid-2016, Alexandro did researches on how to create games for Android with Clickteam Fusion 2.5 Developer. Although there were some problems because he didn't know English and the help was quite limited, he was finally able to solve those problems and create his first app for Android called Space WarCraft. This game was very simple, and he used it for a quick test.
After a few hours, Alexandro would test it with his World 13, which was released in early 2016. It was a disaster because it was slow and the collisions were not accurate. So, he remade the first level of Mario Forever, and Dunami's Engine by Radel was deficient on Android.
However, due to the error-prone nature of Dunami's Engine, Alexandro had to abandon it. After a month without working on the game, he managed to find Rainbow Engine, which was much more stable compared to Dunami's Engine and had no errors. This allowed me to create the complete World 1 with Mario Forever 6.0's graphics. So, he released it to the public and received mostly positive reviews on YouTube in his oldest channel called Alexandro Forever, which he deleted in March 2017.
Alexandro later decided to remove unnecessary components and code from the engine. World 3 would face a delay because Hammer Bros caused lag due to using many loops in its programming, causing Alexandro to remove v6.0's graphics and make the game more similar to version 2.16.
However, even after changing the graphics, the lag continued. At that time, Alexandro couldn't fix it because he didn't know much about programming. After a week, he returned to the project and removed some Hammer Bros, which led to the release of version 1.2.
Alexandro didn't have much time to work on the project due to his limited time, as he was studying at a pre-university academy, but he was able to work on the project during the weekends.
At the end of February, version 1.4 was released, featuring World 5 and a temporary solution to address the lag caused by the Hammer Bro enemy, using the Platform Movement Object extension, an idea taken from Dunami's Engine.
A month later, version 1.5 was released, bringing Worlds 6 and 7 along with many changes to the game.
Months passed until Alexandro created World 8 in 2017, which was version 1.6.8. Although some animations were missing in order to complete version 1.7, which was finally released when the animations were fully implemented. In March, he created another channel called Alexandro Games and deleted the other one due to personal reasons.
Creating the game's extras and more improvements until today
During September, Alexandro was worried about adding the words "The End" in the video presenting World 8 because the download statistics were very low at that time, making the public think that he would stop working on this game. Alexandro then finally continued with new versions that included extra worlds.
After a while, he remade Syzxchulun's worlds, such as World 9 and World 10. The idea came because World 9 was included in Mario Forever 6.0, so he also included it in Mario Forever Android. During November, the release of v1.8 was delayed mainly because of the number of new worlds and levels, as he was preparing for university and had limited time to work on the game.
On November 11, Alexandro finally released version 1.8, although players noticed that the game had some lag.
From February to April 2018, Alexandro worked on v1.9, which was a job he dedicated a lot of time to. He also created an edition with v6.0's graphics with slight changes in the levels it has. The sound was improved, and the code was enhanced, but caused some lag.
So, people had the option to choose the game in its classic version and the newer Mario Forever version.
In 2019, there were no major changes, only some small improvements with the release of version 1.9.5.
For over a year, Alexandro did not release any version because he was busy working on Mario Worker Android.
In 2021, Alexandro released version 1.10, which added D-pad buttons and made it no longer necessary to defeat Bowser in World 8 to unlock Syzxchulun's worlds. For many years, players had asked him to add these new buttons. Alexandro couldn't add them earlier because he didn't know all the functions that the extensions offered by the program.
At the end of that year, he released version 1.17, which added worlds like World U by Nmnmoooh and Westside Island's World 3 by Shadow_78. This version also added the Spanish language, improvements and other features.
The following year, Alexandro released version 1.18, which added the Portuguese language and World Alpha from his series, Adventures Greek Letters. and the addition of support for wireless controllers.
In 2024, Alexandro plans to release version 2.0 of the game, which will include more languages, World of Stupidity, and some extras. More game control adjustments will be added. This version will be available for Windows and Android.
The new name of the game will be Super Mario Forever, and it will have the option to switch between classic and new graphics all in one game.

Soon the world 10 will also be ported to android for inclusion in version 1.8 of the Mario Forever Android game. Also extras are included as versions of worlds 1 and 5. |
| ||
World 11 was also ported to Android in a world edition while I was building version 1.9. The game contains special extras like the old version of World 11 and levels created by Alexandro Games. |
| |||
Before the release of version 1.9 I created the World Edition bringing world 12. Unlike other World Editions, this one brings many bonuses like a desert version of world 2, World H – 3 and other extra levels from Alexandro Games that they were distributed among three color editions. |
| |||
This time there was no World Edition of world 13 before it was released within Mario Forever Android. Some fans asked me to create it because it was the easiest way to play these additional worlds. This brings extras like the version of this world 13 with new graphics and a level made by me. |
