Are you looking for the original version of Mario Forever?

Mario Forever Flash is an Adobe Flash game that was made in 2009 by Mauft and commisioned for Softendo. The game plays exactly to most Super Mario Bros. games, except that it's a Flash game and has different physics compared to the original Mario Forever, with various different sound effects and coding. It is considered as one of the hardest Flash games due to most levels having a level design that results in tough difficulty.

Worlds & Levels

Instead of 8 worlds like every Super Mario game, only four worlds are available and each one has four levels packed in it (except for the final world, which has five in it).

Trivia

  • There exist two versions of this game:
  1. The original version that has a few differences; being Mario shrinking to Small Mario if he has a Fire Flower, and the platforms falling down
  2. The easier, nerfed version; which decreases the game's difficulty by making the platforms not fall down, and Mario shrinking to Super Mario when he has a Fire Flower, instead of his small counterpart. According to Maurycy, he made these changes before giving Softendo access to the game's level editor
  • In the game files, there's a sprite for a red Cheep Cheep, indicating that the game was gonna have them as an enemy, but left unused
